Movies

It’s better just not go to the movie theaters in Panama this weekend. The selection is terrible, and if you make just a little research on the movies, then the selection is depressive.

There are some movies that used to be a premiere two years ago. Like The Dark, for example, a german production about a kid strayed in the woods.  In the most star wars scripting, I have a bad feeling about this movie.

For some reason, I feel that Licence to Wed is a movie for stupid  retarded very nice people with a pink  point of view of the whole universe. I don’t know what is Robin Williams doing  in the company of these.  I shall not see this movie.

The other option for this weekend is Disturbia,  a re-make of a Hitchcock movie, The Rear Window, with the now omni present Shea Lebauf, the kid from Transformers and the main voice in Surf’s Up. Yet another teen movie.

Yes! you can go ahead and see Surf’s Up, probably that could save your weekend, but what you can see is the movie with a voice over in spanish,  so you will miss all the main characater voices in it’s original language, wich is the cream of the movie. That will be a taco movie with a delightful mexican accent.

Still, is not the end of the world. If  what you want to do is see a good movie, you can always see again Hannibal.  You can see the hands of Dino de Laurentis and the delicate direction from Ridley Scott. Not to mention the wonderful Antony Hopkins, playing a Dr. Lecter on the loose.

And that was Movies for this weekend. Yes, Im not happy this weekend.

Ta.
