Blindness

We are not talking today about the movie itself, but about the story.

This is a pack of people who can not see a thing because of a bacteria, and between them there is a woman who is inmune to the  infection. 

This decade seems to be decade of the infected and the cinema.

Its like a perfect recipy: a couple of infected, a deserted city and you got your movie hit.

But here,  in order to survive, she has to pretend that she is as blind as the rest, the only one who knows that she is not blind is her husband. And there will be a lot of  problems between the blinds. What she will do is to guide them in order to survive chaos. As no one is seeing, there is a lot of people walking naked trough the mental hospital. Yes! there is an abandoned mental hospital where all they  will be excluded from the rest of the world because they are the first infected, then the rest of the world will follow.

Suddenly you see that the situation of the blind people and the one guide that they will attack anyways,  in spite of their blindness, is a metaphore of the life itself.

For shure we are blind.  For shure we and a pack of people around us are blind and there is a lot of things that we will not see (or undesrtand), and always there is some person that can guide us trough the darkness.

The screen writer, the director and the author of the book mede it. At the end of the movie you really appreciate that you can see. And at the end of the movie , probably you’ll thing about how blind you are.
